In collaboration with Flowerdales Agency, the project Ook van Jou asked eleven Rotterdam photographers to respond to the Rotterdam City Collection of Museum Rotterdam. What associations do they have with the collection items? Each photographer was assigned one collection piece and each photographer responds to it from his or her own background. The result? Eleven unique and personal perspectives on and representations of important city collection objects, on display in Rotterdam from December 2023. The resulting diptychs confirm: the Rotterdam City Collection is also yours!
